Artist's Statement:



I take great joy in the diversity of forms in the created world and their emergence and revelation in the constantly changing light. As a painter I work to capture these elements of form, motion and light in a particular moment and place.  I paint and sketch   on location, often returning to the same spot to appreciate and capture the changing effects of light.

Painting is both a process of contemplation and discovery and an attempt to  give tangible form to something which is itself transitory and elusive.
